POWER, MAGIC AND TECHNICITY
Our purpose was to create a dream timepiece inspired by the triskelion, a Celtic motif symbolising power and magic, femininity and fertility, and the three natural elements: water, earth and air. In an outstanding piece of setting work, the reproduction of the symbol appears in three dimensions, standing out magnificently against the matt black baseplate made of black, pure onyx, a stone reputed to have talismanic protective virtues.
The first and most striking feature of this creation is the diamond studded Celtic Knot that traverses and weaves itself over and through various parts of the movement, connecting and joining winding barrel, power reserve indicator and tourbillon in an endless cycle. The hour and minute hands are striking in their asymmetrical placement within the flowing lines of this Celtic Knot pattern.

BLACK ONYX BASEPLATE
Onyx is a variety of cryptocrystalline quartz chalcedony composed of silica (SiO2). The rectilinear black and white parallel stripes is classified with agate types. The fully black type is called black onyx and is said to deflect harmful energy down to the earth, while providing stability.
For this reason, black onyx is considered a charm-stone against spells.
Black onyx also symbolises equilibrium and inspiration.

BRIDGES IN GRADE 5 TITANIUM
These components are in grade 5 titanium with black PVD treatment. This provides great rigidity to the whole assembly, as well as the precise surface flatness essential for perfect functioning of the gear train.
POWER-RESERVE INDICATOR
The power-reserve indicator is displayed using a differential power reserve system with a printed red line on a moving disc located between 10 and 11 o’clock.
FREE-SPRUNG BALANCE WITH VARIABLE INERTIA
This mechanism guarantees greater reliability when subjected to shock and also during movement assembly or disassembly, hence better chronometric results over time. The regulator index is eliminated and a more accurate and repeatable calibration is possible thanks to 4 small, adjustable weights located directly on the balance.

BARREL PAWL WITH PROGRESSIVE RECOIL
This device permits an appreciable winding gain (circa 20%), especially during the start of winding. It also aids in the even distribution of the mainspring’s internal tension.
FAST-ROTATING BARREL (6 hours per revolution instead of 7.5 hours)
This type of barrel provides the following advantages:
- The phenomenon of periodic internal mainspring adhesion is significantly diminished, thereby increasing performance.
- Provision of an excellent mainspring delta curve with an ideal power reserve/performance and regularity ratio.
SPLINE SCREWS IN GRADE 5 TITANIUM FOR THE BRIDGES AND CASE
This permits better control of the torque applied to screws during assembly. These screws are therefore unaffected by physical manipulation during assembly or disassembly and age well.
